Painting has given me the opportunity to travel to places far beyond my expectations. It is a thrill to capture on canvas with my paint brush the beautiful scenery I experience! I think it is the best job in the world!!

Painting in the windy prairies,
can be a challenge.

According to my friend Jeannette, there was never any traffic on this road....but after several hours of logging trucks and construction trucks, I had eaten enough dirt to last a lifetime!! But it was just the "right" spot for the scene I wanted to paint...

This was a great trip, as I stayed at French Creek Marina. It was awesome to watch the tide come in and out daily!

One of my favorite painting locations,
Kootenay Lake

You never know what can happen "on location". On this day, a gust of wind came up and my wet painting fell face down in the gravel. Added a lot of nice texture to the paint!!

Painting in style on the tee box of the signature hole at the Kimberley Golf Course. Luckily no flying golf balls hit me...but I did get a lot of strange looks from the golfers!

Throughout my art career, I have had the opportunity to meet many people who have helped me and supported me along the way. Thank you!

My first solo exhibition took place in Janicke Routs art studio in Calgary, June 1998.

My second solo exhibition took place in Kimberley at the Gilded Goat, owned by Robin & Paul Dixon, September, 2002. This was one of the few paintings that I had difficulty saying goodbye to, but it has a really good home now!

I feel fortunate to have been involved with such a wonderful organization and it was inspiring to meet so many people who give generously of their time and energy, including Jim Byrnes!

Television interview at the Variety Club Show of Heart's Telethon with the painting I donated to raise funds for British Columbia's special needs kids.

In 2005, I was honoured by my high school, with the LCI Wall of Distinction Award.
